The History
RobertCity.com started out as a very basic website coded by a young 12 year old named Robert. Fascinated by the concept of building websites and publishing them on the Internet, he decided to try to build a series of pages about himself and his interests. Originally, his website was located a different, longer url. Then, on Robert's 14th birthday, he received his first custom domain, which you are on right now. He started to build better websites. He attempted to start a website building and hosting business but that idea didn't take off far after realizing his lack of knowledge of more advanced website coding languages, such as PHP and JavaScript.
RobertCity.com was chosen as a domain due to an attempt to build a virtual town which Robert named RobertCity. As the months went by, Robert gained interest in building more complex sites. He has improved his programming skills plus he is gaining experience designing graphics for his website.
Today RobertCity.com has changed from a personal website to an attempt of hosting websites to a generic website providing articles, games and reviews on computer hardware and software, computer games, and more. Anyone is invited to join the community, regardless of computer skill level or knowledge.
The Future
The future of RobertCity.com is a very interesting thought. What will become of this generic 'articles and reviews plus games' website? Robert hopes that after he serves a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that he can start building computer games. Plus he could have possibly customers that are interested in having him build them a website for their business or family. Robert can only work hard right now and hope for the best in the future.
